You may remember that supervisors were re-named “front line leaders” during the pandemic, but the title is still given to what is usually the first level of management in most organizations. These leaders really are “the company” to the people they lead and should “serve” in the best sense.
I recently got a request to cover the basics of dealing with a bad set of supervisors from a former colleague who is now managing the HR Function in a firm that has a manufacturing element with a crew of questionable supervisors.In that case, they seem to be using disrespectful language with their employees among other things.
